Local FAQs

Is there a locals’ gate?

Yes, this year there are two locals walking routes:

Puckeridge Resident’s Route

Turn off Standon Hill (A120) on to Barwick Road, after approximately 50 metres there will be a signed entrance to a path in an adjacent field, running parallel to the road. Take a hard right at the end of the field and carry on straight, cross Dowsett’s Lane to continue to the festival site, you’ll pass the Campervan field and Family Camping before reaching the Main Gate. Reverse this route to exit. This route will be well signed with lighting and barriers in place for your safety and convenience.

Standon & Latchford Resident’s Route

This year the original Locals gate for Standon Calling will be open again, Thursday 26th July (from 4pm) – Sunday 29th July (11pm).

While walking to and from the festival please be respectful to residents and our neighbours by keeping noise to a minimum.

We would also like to remind everyone that there is no parking available on Standon High Street. If you are driving, please buy a discounted Locals Parking Pass in advance from Westwoods, Standon or TG’s, Puckeridge and use festival car parking. We encourage you to walk to the festival where possible.

Is there a locals’ discussion group?

Yes. If you’re a local or local ticket holder please join our Standon Calling locals Facebook group – www.facebook.com/groups/279012272200635/. We appreciate your support.

Can locals volunteer at this year’s festival?
