How far is the car park from the campsites?

Not very far at all! All of our campsites can be reached within 10 minutes of the Car Park / Main Gate and the Family Campsite is two minutes from the Main Gate.

If you’re camping in one of our Premium Campsites in the valley – Lavish Lands or Boutique Camping – you will have to walk down a hill into the festival arena valley. Do make use of the first-come-first served luggage buggy service available for all Premium Campsite guests on arrival from the main gate and departure from your campsite lounge / check in.

Can I get around the festival easily?

The festival is in fields, so you’ll need to think practically about your pushchair and its capabilities! We’d advise you to bring a carrier or a trailer instead.

Before you leap into buying, why not consider hiring? We have partnered with Kids Bike Trailers who have a fantastic array of buggies and trailers suitable for all terrain!

Do you have onsite babysitting?

And are there changing facilities?

Yes and yes! Babysitting has been provided for a number of years by the lovely Mortimer Nannies team, comprised of fully qualified nannies and DBS-checked assistants.

Book your kids into ‘stay up late’ sessions in their cosy HQ, decked out with fairy lights, comfy beanbags and cushions so children can snuggle down, listen to a story, play games or watch a film.

Alternatively an ‘in tent’ babysitting service is available for up to 3 children.

Advance booking for both services will open for 2023 shortly!

In the kids area you’ll find a dedicated space for changing, feeding and warming up milk and meals.

How loud is the festival and can we take some time out and relax?

Standon Calling’s audience is a multi-generational, family friendly bunch!

While some areas and stages will be loud, there is plenty of beautiful Hertfordshire countryside space to spread out in while still having a great view of the acts and entertainment you want to see.

The Kids Area is programmed with young children in mind and has more relaxed spaces to enjoy.

Do you have family packages / discounts?

We have released a limited number of family bundles for tickets + boutique camping for you and your family’s festival weekend. Enjoy Weekend Tickets at previous tier pricing + the luxury and convenience of the Boutique Campsite.
