This week we look over the highlights of Dick and Dom’s 20 year career

Dick and Dom started their career as presenters, first separately when they met over a bacon baguette in 1996, before being made into the dynamic duo they are today in 1997. Dick still holds the accolade for being the youngest ever DJ at 12 years old and Dom won previously won ‘The Young Magician of the year”.

In Da Bungalow

In 2002, they made themselves a BBC household name with Dick and Dom in Da Bungalow – launching the famous Bogies game. The Saturday morning show ran for over 4 years, 5 series and picked up 2 Baftas along the way!

Ask The Family

A reboot of the 70s quiz show ‘Ask The Family’ came next for the duo, before then in 2014 winning a BAFTA for their tv show ‘Absolute Genius with Dick and Dom’. In total they have won 4 baftas – more than Sir Ian McKellen.

Gone Wild

They then went on to present Into The Wild – where they went into vets, wildlife sanctuaries and animal rescue centres with teams of people with challenges – it helped raise awareness of  plighted animals across the UK – and of course got very messy, in true Dick and Dom style! They also had their own BBC Radio 1 show on Sunday Mornings.

Circus Showdown

More recently they’ve gone up and down the country, bringing their magic tricks to real life on at 80 date tour before heading to perform their show Dick & Dom’s Circus Showdown at Butlins last year – an interactive show for all of the family. Dom still holds the accolade for the youngest ever DJ

DJ Battle

Fresh off the back of their award winning Dick V Dom stage show, the boys are back in the ring…… but this time, it’s all about the music. It’s time for….the Dick v Dom DJ Battle! Set on different sides of the stage behind their own set of decks, the boys battle it out to see who can whip up the crowd at the best at Standon Calling – Will it be Dick or will it be Dom?
