Standon Calling is proud to be a cashless festival. Find out what that means and how it works below. We’ll be updating this page with information on 2019 soon.

  • What is cashless?

    Standon Calling is a cashless festival. When you arrive at the festival, you will be issued with a wristband that has a unique RFID chip that is linked to your ticket.

    All of our merchants onsite take cashless payments via your wristband. Whether you’re paying for drinks at one of our bars, essentials in our shops or food – it’s an easy and safe way of making payments.

  • How does it work?

    Step 1: Register a secure cashless account online using your ticket barcode number.

    Step 2: Choose the amount of money that you want to top up, starting at £25, £50, £75, £100, £150, £200, £250, £300. 

    Step 3: When you arrive at the festival you will have your e-ticket scanned, you will then receive your wristband which has your money loaded on to it. You can skip straight to Step 5!

    Step 4: If you haven’t created your online account in advance, no problem! Just come back to this page URL and create an account. OR go to one of our on site top up stations and add funds to your wristband.

    Step 5: You’re now ready to start making purchases at the festival!

    Step 6: If you still have money on your wristband after the event you can ask for refund through the app on our website from Monday 29th July at 12.00pm until Tuesday 20th August at 11.59pm.

  • How to Top Up

    You can add money to your wristband online before you arrive at the festival using either a debit or credit card. If you’d prefer to top up when you arrive on site, you can do so at one of our top up stations which accept cash, debit or credit card. You can also top via the Standon Calling app and via our website here whilst at the festival. You then use your wristband to pay for everything while you’re with us.

  • Family & Group Accounts
    You can add multiple people to one cashless account – perfect for families and groups!
     
    After you have created your account and topped up, you can create multiple wallets to add other people to your account.
     
    1. Log in to your cashless account and click on your account name to find the ‘Add’ function.
     
    2. Provide a person’s name for the additional wallet and the barcode number associated with that person’s festival entry ticket.
     
    3. Choose the amount you’d like to add to that wallet.
     
    4. Hey presto – you can now top and manage multiple wallets from your account!
  • Registering an account

    You don’t have to register an account, but we highly advise you do. This will allow you to:

    • Check spending history.
    • Top-up your account at any time on the website or in the festival app.
    • Block your wristband should you lose it and reclaim your balance.
    • Easily request a refund any unspent money post-festival.
  • What if I lose my wristband?

    As your account is linked to your wristband, you can block your wristband to prevent funds from being spent by visiting the Cashless Information point onsite. There you can receive a new wristband which will be credited with the balance from the chip you have blocked.

    If you do not create an account, blocking your wristband will unfortunately not be possible as we require the unique reference number from your chip.

  • Post-festival refunds

    If you have money remaining on your wristband after the festival (minimum £1.01) you will be able to request a refund from Monday 29th July at 12pm via the Standon Calling website and app. Please be aware that we are not be able to process refunds on site at the top-up stations. Please keep your festival wristband in order to obtain refunds online.

    The final day to apply for your wristband refund is Tuesday 20th August 11:59pm, we’re unable to process refunds after this date.

    Please note when applying for a refund there is a £1.00 processing fee per wristband.

    In order to process your refund you will need to provide your bank card details for the bank account where you wish to receive your refund, as well as the 6 digit code on the back of your cashless wristband chip.

    You also have the option to donate your remaining balance towards a ticket for Standon Calling 2020, or to our charity partner, War Child. Find out more about War Child here.

  • Reclaiming balance with cashless account

    If you have created a Cashless account and wish to request a refund for the remaining balance on your wristband, you can do so by logging in to your account via the Standon Calling website or app from 12pm on Monday 29th July and selecting « Refunds ». You will then receive your refund to your chosen bank card within 10 working days.

  • Reclaiming balance without cashless account

    If you did not create a Cashless account then in order to reclaim your balance, you must create a Cashless account. It’s quick and easy: visit the Standon Calling website or app and go to Cashless section. From there you can create your Cashless account by entering:

    • Your full name
    • Email address
    • A password
    • The 6 digit code that is on the back of your cashless wristband
    • Your bank card information.
    • Once logged into your account, click the « Refunds » button. Your bank account will be credited within 10 working days.
