THE NEW 2018 ENTRANCE

As you may have noticed, all camping is now outside of the festival arena, including Lavish Lands – although it remains the closest to the action. This is so we can maximise the entertainment on offer at Standon Calling 2018.

This new 2018 entrance offers the easiest descent into the valley for festival fun and takes you through our lovely woods too.

Lordship
Lordship

LORDSHIP

Private family home of the Trenchards and current residence of Alex’s parents Lord and Lady Trenchard, The Lordship was built in 1546 and was of great importance during the Tudor period. It even welcomed Queen Elizabeth I for a brief stay – no doubt she was attending a festival weekender!

Standon Calling started as Alex’s birthday garden party on the lawn of the Lordship, with friends sleeping in the hallways of the house! Although there is no access to the Lordship today, the building remains a key character in the Standon Calling festival experience.
