Standon Calling is a fully cashless festival, and has been since 2014. This means everything that you pay for on site is done through a chip on your festival wristband. We understand that if you’ve not been to a cashless event before, you might have some questions about how it works.
When creating your cashless account using the form at the top of this page, you will need to provide the barcode number on your festival entry e-ticket. These are issued to the lead booker’s email address – the barcode number can be found next to the barcode / QR code on your e-ticket. Your cashless account is linked to your e-ticket barcode, and when your e-ticket is scanned at the festival your money then goes on to your wristband – easy!
You can also create a cashless account once you’ve received your wristband at the festival. All you need is the 6 digit code on the back of your wristband chip. You can create a cashless account via the festival app or the cashless page on our website.
Standoners! Fancy some drinks on us? To celebrate the festival drawing ever closer, top up your cashless account before midnight on 31st May and you’ll get 10% back as free bar credit*. To receive 10% back, simply top up one of the amounts below:
This is a limited time offer, so don’t miss out! Start loading up your festival spending money to turbo-charge your day or weekend of summer fun at Standon Calling.
*Free bar credit is applicable to first top up only.
** Please note that the free bar credit is per account and not per wallet.
You must use the barcode on your festival entry e-ticket (Weekend or Day). If you are a Kaboodle or Universe e-ticket holder you will have been given the option to provide individual attendee names at the time of booking which are printed on to each e-ticket – each attendee should create a cashless account using their individual barcode.
As Ticketmaster e-tickets are all issued in the name of the lead booker, you must allocate a barcode to each person in your booking to ensure that multiple people don’t accidentally use the same barcode when creating a cashless account. If this happens you may end up with the incorrect amount on your wristband.
If you have purchased a re-sale ticket via Tixel, your e-ticket will be issued from the 26th May.
If you have Day tickets across multiple days, please enter the barcode number on the ticket of the first day you will be on site.
The barcode number is located near your barcode or QR code on your e-ticket. Make sure to use the barcode on your festival entry ticket. If you’re still having issues, please contact contact our cashless provider at standoncashless@weezevent.com
No, all our traders and bars will only be able to process payment via your cashless wristband. You can use Cash or Card at any of the Top-up stations on site before visiting the bars or traders, or you can register and top up in advance.
You do not need to register in advance, but we highly recommend that you do. The benefits of creating a cashless account include:
Please be aware that if you lose your wristband at the festival and have not created an account, it will not be possible to reclaim any unspent money.
Anyone can Top-up at the on-site Top-up stations on site. Cash and major debit / credit cards are accepted at the Top-up stations.
After you purchase anything, the vendor will be able to show you your balance on their payment device. If you register in advance, you can also check your balance at any time from your phone. You can also visit the Top-up stations or the cashless information point on site to check your balance.
If you think you have been charged an incorrect amount after having made a purchase, tell the staff member who charged you immediately and they will be able to contact a senior team member to issue a refund.
By enabling auto Top-up, if your wristband balance goes below £20 during the festival, your wristband will automatically top up by £50 and the payment card linked to your cashless account will be debited. This eliminates the need to visit Top-up stations on site, or top up via the app (launching soon!). Very handy for when you’re at the bar and your balance is low! You can enable this option in your personal account in advance.
Wallets are used to store your festival spending money.
1) If you’ve been to Standon Calling before and created a Cashless Account you will be prompted to create a wallet in your name to store your spending money. New attendees will be prompted to create a wallet after creating a Cashless Account.
2) You can also create additional wallets for family members and manage them within your account. The payment card and log in email address will be the same for all, but everyone will have their own independent balance. This is great for managing kids’ accounts.
Once you have created your cashless account, you can then create multiple wallets within your account. Wallets can be used to store and manage your child’s spending money.
To create a wallet you will need to sign in to your cashless account and select “Add a new wallet”. You will then be prompted to provide a name for the wallet (child’s name), and their date of birth. You will then need to provide your child’s e-ticket barcode number in order to add funds to the wallet.
You will then be able to see how much money is in each person’s wallet. You can create as many wallets as required, and you can also create an additional wallet while on site at the festival by using the 6 digit code on the back of your child’s wristband chip.
As your account is linked to your wristband, you can block it by visiting the cashless information point onsite. You can get a new wristband which will be credited with the balance of the chip you have blocked.
If you do not create an account, blocking your wristband is impossible as we won’t have the unique reference number. This is a key reason we highly advise you to register your wristband in advance.
All Crowdfunder Bar Credit has now expired. It will not be possible to spend any unspent Crowdfunder Bar Credit at Standon Calling 2023.
