2022 Mercury Prize Winner, Little Simz

Little Simz won the prestigious Mercury Prize on Thursday night for her album, Sometimes I Might Be Introvert. It was an unanimous decision from the judges, beating the likes of Self Esteem, Wet Leg, Kojey Radical and Yard Act.

The judging panel statement read – “The Mercury Prize is all about shining a light on albums of lasting value and real artistry. Sometimes I Might Be Introvert has both.”
