In 2016 Standon Calling landed on the culinary map as a top foodie festival destination.

THE WELCOME FEAST

Our brand new Thursday launch event saw our audience enjoy a huge variety of street food from some of the very best vendors in the country.

We created a unique culinary collaboration between our Sunday headliner (and Le Cordon Bleu trained chef) Kelis and London pop-up sensations Le Bun. Together Kelis x Le Bun served delicious arepas and burgers to very excited crowds, some of whom were even served by the music icon herself.

Ceru brought fine dining to the festival for the first time, with a menu inspired by the fresh bold flavours of the Levant region.

To wash all of this down, we offered a real ale bar curated by London’s Hackney Brewery and Hertfordshire’s Red Squirrel, premium spirits from a range of independent producers, espresso rumtinis on tap, along with smoothies, juices and proper coffee.

I cannot go into with this review without mentioning the amazing variety of food on offer. From Mac ā€˜nā€™ Cheese to pie and mash, from pizzas to tacos, from vegetarian cuisine to burgers being served by the one and only ‘milkshake’ enthusiast Kelis. Yes Kelis!
